Description: Amongst the native birds of Dominica, there is one very popular species, the Sisserou. This is not it! It looks very similar, and to the untrained eye one would be conviced it is. This was likely the artist’s intent. For those who are not Dominican nor Bird experts they would be happily ignorant. The Artist wanted to deviate from the norm and have that inside secret that only the natives would be aware of.
